Eva LaFollette, MA, LMHC

 

Eva LaFollette is a warm and dynamic mental health therapist who utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT Therapy), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and other modalities to help you achieve a life you enjoy living.  Eva believes that you are the experts of yourself and, as such, are able to and ought to direct your goals for therapy. Eva sees her role as the facilitator and mentor for your journey to wellness as well as helping you to improve communication within important relationships, including that with yourself.

Eva LaFollette specializes working with adolescents, parents of adolescents and adults who struggle with finding the most effective and constructive ways to handle their problems and resolve conflicts with others.  She is intensively trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech (2005), has studied of Ayurvedic practices, and most recently completed her 200 hour yoga teacher instruction certification.

Eva LaFollette brings over 25 years of Human Services experience with at-risk youth, including 15 plus years as a licensed mental health counselor.  Eva is extremely knowledgeable about anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, dating violence, and is an ally and resource for LGBTQIA, trans, gender non-conforming people, and kink-aware.

She has a passion for helping people find their voice and direction to live their life with strong loving connections and freedom to pursue their goals.
