Erica Rosenthal, LMHC, +CDPT
Erica Rosenthal helps people lead more deliberate, fulfilling lives by working collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness and goal-directed behavior.
Erica has been counseling individuals, couples, and families for the past 10 years and is skilled at working with both adult and adolescent clients. She specializes in treating Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Eating Disorders, PTSD, and Substance Use Disorders. Erica’s goal in working with clients is to establish an emotionally safe environment whereupon clients feel empowered to engage in self-exploration and self-actualization.
Erica utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Foundationally trained in 2016), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Exposure Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. Erica’s philosophy towards practicing psychotherapy is eclectic in nature, actively avoiding a “one size fits all” therapeutic approach with her clients.
Erica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Chemical Dependency Trainee. She graduated from the University of Denver in 2011 with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. In her previous life, Erica graduated from Touro Law Center in 2006 with a Juris Doctorate degree while living in New York City.
