• Do you feel your eating is “out of control?”
  • Have you tried losing weight in the past, but end up sabotaging yourself, or just losing steam mid-way through?
  • Have you gained weight on a diet while trying to lose weight?
  • Do you eat when you feel sad, lonely, and/or bored?

–Or–

  • Do you feel like everything you eat makes you feel sick, tired, and/or foggy-headed?
  • Has your naturopath recommended an elimination diet, but the idea feels scary, daunting, and downright painful?
  • Does it feel like the list of taboo foods for you exceeds the list of approved foods?

Imagine if you could find a way to tune up your lifestyle, increase energy, heal chronic fatigue, think more clearly, and feel less stressed out and sick.  Imagine if you could decrease and/or prevent headaches, anger, depression, anxiety and insomnia. Imagine losing the extra weight you’ve been carrying around and keeping it off.  Imagine looking and feeling your best.

Weight Loss

Our philosophy, at OptimalLife Wellness Center, is to bring the newest information that Brain Science currently offers, along with mindfulness practices, to support you in creating healthier eating and living choices. We do not offer a “diet plan,” and do not focus on weight loss, per se, but rather, seek to empower you to feel more in control of your eating patterns and food choices. We achieve this through a combination of nutrition education, cognitive-behavioral thought changing strategies, mindfulness techniques, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), among other strategies. Ultimately, the healthiest “diet” is a lifestyle change, along with mindful eating practices, which will naturally lead you to your own healthy weight and body shape.

Dietary Restrictions/Nutritional Health

At OptimalLife Wellness Center, we believe that a well-nourished person, who has a healthy diet and healthy habits, has the ability to improve brain functioning and is better prepared to respond to psychological and emotional issues faster and more effectively.

food as fuelOur brain, together with our gut and heart, is responsible for most of our feelings. In order for our brain to function optimally, it needs the right nutrients that are generated primarily through our diet, to build the essential neurotransmitters that our brains need. Genetics, our busy lifestyles, and diet choices all have an impact on neurotransmitters not working well on a consistent basis. When our systems are not working properly, we suffer symptoms that negatively affect our mind and body health and optimal functioning.

Perhaps, you’ve already started exploring your own nutritional needs with a professional and are struggling to implement their recommendations. Or, perhaps, you’ve already come quite a way on your journey to healthier eating habits and are challenged to stay on-track amid the temptations of your old favorite comfort foods.  Wherever you are on your journey to dietary wellness, we, at OptimalLife Wellness Center, have been there, too, and can help guide and support you on your own path.

Isn’t it time to start enjoying optimal health in body and mind? We, at OptimalLife Wellness Center, are here to support, empower, and guide you every step of the way.
