Carmen Kaperick has extensive experience in the mind and body connection. She uses this holistic approach to help clients find ways to feel better, do better, and function in a more significant and meaningful way. Carmen’s approach consists of creating a safe and comfortable connection to enable you to gain a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. Carmen will then work with you to find solutions to the challenges that bring you to therapy.
Carmen Kaperick has helped clients work through: depression, anxiety, shyness, insecurities, stress, chronic health issues, learning difficulties, self-esteem, relationship difficulties and transitions, childhood traumatic experiences, cultural adaptation, grief, loss, and disappointments.
Carmen Kaperick has over a decade of experience working with youth, individuals, couples and families. Carmen is also a Child Mental Health Specialist, and a Minority Mental Health Specialist.
As a Positive Discipline Educator, Carmen has the experience and expertise parents need to handle today’s challenging parenting issues.
Carmen also has experience and interest in helping families with special needs members, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Carmen’s approaches also include the use of Emotional Freedom Technique, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Carmen has a special interest in diet and nutrition as well, which she will integrate into her work with you.
Carmen is bilingual, English and Spanish and is bicultural.
